UNITY

We are a family here at Tulane and our number one priority should be support; whether that's getting more fans at sporting events or more audience members for a theater production.

Fall 2014 - Spring 2015

Autumn served as President of Women In Business

Increasing membership by 200%, Autumn's presidency changed Women in Business. Meetings became weekly instead of biweekly, over 10 local women speakers came to speak to the group, internships were awarded to numerous students and students had the opportunity to network. The organization gained a presence on Tulane's campus that has remained active for the President's since Autumn.

EXPERIENCE

I've served on the Executive Board for USG for the past year, been President of an organization, been a student worker and was the Assistant News Editor for the Tulane Hullabaloo.

Spring 2014

Internship with the Office of James Carville

During the Spring of her freshman year, Autumn was selected as a student intern for James Carville. She gained knowledge about leadership, working hard and the importance of being honest and respectable. Her time with the Office of James Carville showcases her ability to manage time and handle responisbilites of all ranges.

Fall 2013 - Spring 2016

Elected 3 times to serve on the USG, rising from a Senator-at-Large to the current Vice President for Finance

Only three weeks into her freshman year at Tulane, Autumn ran for a Senator-at-Large position against 26 other freshman and won. As a sophomore, she was elected to serve as a Freeman School of Business Senator  and for both Senator terms, she sat on and was an active member of the Finance Committee.

After two years of sitting on the committee, Autumn was elected to serve as the Vice President for Finance- the position she currently holds. Every week, sometimes multiple times per week, Autumn meeets with other student leaders to discuss finance and spends her time advocating for student organizations. As a current member of the USG Executive Board, she knows the behind the scenes ropes of the student government and hopes to use her experience to be the most resourceful and effective President.
